Aggeliki Dimitriadou

A Greek visual artist working across painting and weaving. Her practice explores how layers of colour, texture and gesture shape our sense of space and memory. Drawing inspiration from architecture and the rhythms of the built and natural environment, she translates proportion, repetition and structure into abstract compositions.

Through processes of layering, concealment and reworking, traces of earlier gestures remain within each work. Weaving adds a tactile dimension to the painted surface, bringing material and image into dialogue. Balancing structure with intuition, Dimitriadou’s work invites a closer look at what is revealed, what is remembered and what remains beneath the surface.
