Photographer, Filmmaker and Producer.

He has been practicing photography since he is teenager, between photography of film set and personal research.

He has produced more than 250 films (ARTE and CANAL PLUS )including “I know that I’m wrong“ (palme d’or Cannes) and the realization of many short films including :  « Physical sculpture »  (Cannes official Prize short film ), « Moon shot «   (Sitges grand prize ) and feature films « Adrenaline », « Parano » , « The trip to India » ( prize for best European film meets Franco-American ) etc…

He is currently working on three series of photographs "PIECES OF GREECE", "LES DRAPPES DU VENTS" and "JARDIN PARTAGÉ"

It was during several trips ( 2021 -2023 ) to the Greek islands that he made a series of photography for the book "PIECES OF GREECE" A set of photos with a strong pictorial aspect where he goes in search of everyday situations and details magnifying light and unique forms in the islands of the Aegean Sea. A donkey caught in a small chapel, a pebble lost in a blue sky, stairs and doors rising to pristine skies…

Each photo attempts a representation in a strict minimum of shapes and colors.  Yann likes to push the photographic image towards its ultimate asceticism, where the image merges with pure graphics or abstract form without any use of faking or image manipulation. Through these pure forms, Yann tries to communicate to the viewer a visual sensation of fullness and communion with the elements.
