Born in Athens, Greece. He studied materials sciences in Montpellier and Paris and worked as a researcher in France. From 1986 to 2005, he lived in Brussels, where he pursued arts studies at the Brussels’ School of Fine Arts under atelier Toma Roata. His artistic journey has been enriched by his time living in Beijing (2005-2010) and Cairo (2010-2012). Currently, he divides his time between Brussels and Paros, Greece.

Papageorgiou’s work has been showcased in galleries and museums across the globe, including Athens, Paris, Brussels, Beijing, Shanghai, and Cairo.
