Originally from Austria, Carina holds a Bachelor's degree in Ceramics and a Master's degree in Art Photography from the University of the Arts, London. After thriving in the UK art scene, she found her artistic sanctuary on Greece's Paros Island ten years ago.
Her work, influenced by the Cyclades' natural landscape, embodies a blend of earthy elegance, sub-aquatic realms and celestial awe. Inspired by ancient Greek pottery and physical anatomy, Carina's pieces reflect a deep exploration of the vessel's significance, both physically and metaphorically.
Carina views her ceramic practice as therapeutic, emphasizing the importance of mindfulness in allowing the work's vibrational qualities to resonate with the observer.
