Catherine Perrel

Lives and works between Paris and Paros. She studied painting under Alberto Cont, a great colorist painter. She primarily paints with tempera, working  on a series of large-scale pieces revolving around Homer's Odyssey. Her goal is to explore a new form of colorful and rhythmic interpretation, delving into the depths of
ages and colors.

In another series, inspired by the essence and materials of different locations, she aims to capture the telluric and elemental forces in a fleeting moment. Paros, where one is so close to the elements of nature and to meteorological phenomena, is an ideal place to regain this primal connection to the world.
